So I found this picture in one of my phone pics files
( You can read about those here and follow the tag here )

cool female portrait i can't recall diddly about

I am currently drawing a 100% blank on this tattoo.
Seriously can’t remember anything about it.

My only clue as to anything concerning this one is that I did it at The Electric Beach in Port Angeles.
The wall color and paneling in the background is why I know that.

Ah… I so often feel like that Dory fish in Finding Nemo.

Anyways… besides the fact that it is super red I really like the picture.
It is cool when people have fun ones for me to do with classic hairstyles or clothing/glasses/jewelry type things involved.
It really adds a timelessness to the overall image.

Looking at the red areas I can also tell I did this one relatively fast for a portrait and all with a 7 magnum needle grouping.
I sketched in the basic shade areas super light and then just worked from the upper right down to the lower left.
It appears as though I did full detailing as I went rather than basics and then going back through to get the fine points of the features.
I hate the look of fresh portrait tattoos usually because they look so little like the finished product which is a softer and smoother look. (if done right)
This one however looks pretty cool as is.
The grayed out soft version however I am sure is much nicer though.
What a pretty gal!
