This small painting was the very first of a series dealing with the panties coming down.
When it comes to sex with someone for the very first time there exist a few certain moments that can be sexy as heck.
When she pulls those panties down is one of those moments.
For one thing it is a moment of “We are doing this.”
For another you can read a lot of how the girl is thinking, feeling, wanting, etc… in how she does this simple act.
It can tell of her excitement, nervousness, need, confidence, and more.
It can be a magical moment.
Slow and teasing, hasty and with need, unsure and shy… the panties coming down can say oh so much.
As I show more of this series you will see that I have tried to express all these different things with each painting.
You will also notice that I stick with primarily torso imagery for this series. I am sticking with just the torso for the reason that a face expression shows just as much as the body language. A face changes it. My desire here is to give you that magical moment through body language alone.
You will also notice that the panties are usually ABOUT to come down rather than already on the way. The reason for that is because I am aiming to capture that deciding moment more so than the action itself.
Sticking to the torso and the just about to come down phase also gives me something else to play with.
Mystery.
The mystery is wonderful to work with in a painting. It allows you (the viewer) to interact with the painting visually.
The who, why, what is all left up to your imagination. I give hints and you fill in the details with your own mind.
This series of paintings is very fun for me and I am sure that many others will appreciate it also.
