Ode to the Scarecrows part one

May 2026, the tattoo deal, because that is what you are here for.
Scarecrows, in the style shown.
Price = Half Price of normal rates, or better.
Minimum $100, and Max $250.
Minimum size is four inches, no max beyond time constraints. I’d like them over six or seven inches if possible, and yes you can get one for a hundred that size. All the details are spelled out below the example image.

Message me with the placement and size (width and height) you’d like along with your preferred budget between $100, and $250.
Think of it as $100 gets you a $200 version, $150 gets you a $300 version, etc.
The max is $250 because it would be a long session… think time length of a $500 tattoo session.
I will draw up TWO designs which fit the placement, size, and budget specifications in the style shown above. You will choose from those two designs at the time of your appointment. Again, they will be in the style shown above. They will be finished artworks, and please note that they will be used as T-shirt designs as well.
Examples using the three shown are Here, Here, and Here.

Bonus material below:

First, this all started with one of my sketching with Aarron videos. You can see it HERE on YouTube.

Now, the Ode which gave this special it’s title.

Ode to the Scarecrow – a poem by your favorite oddball artist.

I remember scarecrows standing alone
under skies so wide they made a boy feel small.

Their jackets flapped against the wind
their straw hair tangled by weather
their faces faded almost white by August sun.

They were clumsy things
built from leftovers and stubborn hope.
Yet they belonged perfectly to the fields.

Every back road had one.
Every farmer trusted them at least a little.

I feared them deeply as a child.
At night they seemed capable of movement
like lonely souls nailed to the earth.

But age has softened them in my memory.
Now I think of them with nostalgia
as companions of a forgotten land.

The land has changed.
Tiny farms disappeared year after year
until the countryside became parcels and pavement.

The fields where scarecrows once stood
are now crowded with rooftops
all identical
all still.

Nobody needs a silent watcher anymore.
Machines do the work now
or the work is simply gone.

Still I miss seeing those awkward figures
holding their endless post beneath the clouds
guardians of a fading world.
