Lips, softly tickling each other with agreement,
not just hollow vows to be splintered,
but a covenant recorded
that all at once brought tears,
and transcended rosy ambitions
of cupid’s point-blank arrow.
Now coupled with crushing bond,
we ascertain dissimilation unachievable
as the hammers of our hearts strike in time,
edifying, transported into one being;
how our souls roar, conjugated, unending, one.
