A Coffee Stained Heart   Leave a comment

I’m sure a few of you noticed I have been posting infrequently lately.
It was not because I haven’t been working. I’ve actually been working pretty hard… burning the midnight oil so to speak even.
I’ve only posted a couple of my coffee and ink pieces here on artistic flow, but I did a bunch of them.
Here is what I have posted so far:
An image of a couple on a bench overlooking the Port Angeles harbor along with a poem…
Your Significance
A super sketchy styled one with a shorter poem…
Hours
and a pretty rose one with a poem-ish type bit of babble inscluded…
I’d Grow Roses
Those were just the start though. I drank and painted with a lot of coffee this year. I also wrote a lot on love. All kinds of love. Playful love, passionate love, everlasting love, and even tragic love. It was a year of contemplation on the subject.
It all came together in the form of a book.
Cover of A Coffee Stained Heart Poetry and Art by Aarron Laidig
Here is the cover.
188 pages of passion, romance, heartache, betrayal, loss, and wishes revolving around deep love. I even created the cover with coffee and ink.
I’m pretty excited.
Over the next couple months I’ll be sharing bits of it here on Artistic Flow. I hope you find it interesting, and I also hope it inspires you to get a copy.
