Tomorrow is Thanksgiving.
I’m not really a big turkey lover myself, but some are, and it’s the standard for Thanksgiving.
Pilgrims and mashed potatoes and yams and pies… and turkey.
Ham is always included in our case as well.
I got inspired to create a painting this year.
This is is, The Turkey Loving Pilgrim.
This pilgrim loves his turkey for sure.
Does he eat it? Pet it? Talk to it? Protect it?
No clue, but he loves it.
Actually, I have a clue because I painted it, but since it can be thought of in multiple ways I am leaving it up to you lucky viewers of my Turkey Loving Pilgrim.

You can get prints of The Turkey Loving Pilgrim HERE.
Obviously this would make great seasonal decor to spark conversation around the holiday table, and hopefully not politics. I’m so bored of that being everyone’s number one topic these last few years.
A better topic would be discussing the love of this pilgrim for his turkey.
This is not just holiday decor, I didn’t paint it for that. No, I painted it for year round enjoyment. I think it would fit perfectly in your kitchen or dinning room 365 days a year.
The reality is though, because I have been painting for decades to scratch out a living on this planet, is that I am guessing if prints are purchased they will most like be hung in restaurants and the such. I’m imagining a unique and fun place that serves up lunch and dinner with sweet ass tunes playing. You don’t see real art in chain restaurants or wishy washy tourist cafes that cater to boring folk. I love a place with character and real food instead of the pre-made crud most places heat and serve nowadays.
I digress.
Alrighty, back to it, and don’t forget, you can get prints of The Turkey Loving Pilgrim HERE.
I also made a weird video you can see on YouTube Here.
So, since some people love my working titles vs what I end up going with, I will share that this one had the working title of “turkey Lover” until someone sent me a message who had seen it as a drawing and finished her message with “good luck with your scary pilgrim turkey painting.” It then became the scary pilgrim turkey painting.
