This is an album I’m talking about I guess, but really it’s poems made music. All the poems are from a collection of poems I have been putting together slowly for many years with a working title called “A kiss through thorns.”
The poems I’m pulling from span over sixteen years. There are a few in the maybe file that date back a full twenty.
The title of Maudlin poetry with white russians in a windowless room comes not from how the poems were written, but from how the songs were put together. I have a windowless room at my studio. It has many titles. It is usually called the “painting room,” but I paint in many rooms.
As I was working on the project I decided the poems I selected were maudlin, and I was drinking white russians which were home made, so extra good.

If you know me, nothing is so simple, I hide secrets and stories in most everything I do. I put secondary meanings behind obvious truths, and symbolism often dictates the primary subject in the first place.
Double meanings do indeed exist, but that is for the oddballs like me to see. Here I also played upon a movie with the title though. I’m guessing you know the movie.

Now about that play on a movie. It is something funny and tricky. I’m a fan of The Big Lebowski and have a lot in common with the characters of both The Dude and Walter. Whole milk is not satisfactory. It is how many bars and restaurants like to hand it over to the customer.
I’m not a boozer, but many many years ago I had my moments.
This drink is especially popular with all day drinkers because the half and half keeps the stomach chill.
After a few years of this it seems like just water if the bartender uses whole milk. This dude doesn’t abide.
