I’m pretty much done posting things from my crystal side quest, but figured I should do a post on amethyst crystal tattoos because amethyst was the most popular choice. Did a few of these a week.
I wish I could say that the choice always had something to do with some deep meanings and such, but in many cases it was simply a case of “I like purple.”
That is fine, I was still pushing the vibes.
Amongst other things, amethyst is believed to enhance spiritual awareness, intuition, and connection to the divine.
Y’all who got these shall now have spiritual awakenings!
Since I did a bunch I thought I’d post a few, and I am not very selective so I just grabbed the first few from my photos in order of them being done. Lucky you!
All of the crystals tattoos were small. You can see a rose quartz one here, or a Tourmaline & Smoky Quartz here, and a Golden Healer Quartz tattoo here. That’s a lot of posting on the same topic for me. This amethyst crystal tattoos post shall end the streak.
This was the first one. Sweet base on the bottom. Went milky purple with it.
Second one had a bunch of gold wire loosely wrapping for accents. The wire was popular throughout the project on many types of stones.
Third one was a small solo shard with no accents. Did this one in a way it will have more translucence when healed than the first two because it was next to black stuff and had no accents.
The fourth had wire again. Went a bit more vivid because of the location.
and… that was the first four.
I’m not bored with the crystals, just posting about the tattoos. I have artistic ADD so need to have lots of stuff going on that is different.
I’m still on my crystals kick though.
Amethyst quartz.
What is it?
Amethyst is a purple variety of quartz with trace amounts of iron. The purple color is not inherent to quartz. It come from the iron replacing some of the silicon atoms in the crystal structure. Exposure to low levels of natural radiation interacts with the iron, causing the color change and giving us these sweet purples we like so much.
What good stuff can amethyst bring to you besides enhancing spiritual awareness, intuition, and connection to the divine?
It supposedly promotes a sense of calm, more clarity, and better mental focus. It helps with decision-making in general and reduces stress. If that isn’t enough, Amethyst can also enhance intuition in relationships, promote self-love, and deepen intimacy. I know that is needed.
Basically it is good stuff.
