Experimental music grooves is what Seven Inch Sloth is about.
My favorite music project, but not everyone else’s. It’s an acquired taste, and weird doesn’t cover it.
I’m blending lo-fi old-school late 80s and early 90s tech with cyberfunk, rock, new wave, poetry, spoken word, and sometimes I attempt some rapping, but it’s rare because i suck at it.
It’s a for me project and I blend whatever grooves I’m feeling into it.
DAW (Digital Audio Workstation) software is how all the recording, editing, and producing is done. I’m middling alright with it.
On the rare occasion you hear acoustic guitar in a Seven Inch Sloth track it is usually me on a regular guitar. These songs start with that for basic rhythms, and then by the time I am done I’ve removed it. The beets are usually made on a keyboard.
Lyrics are obviously me, and I am often just telling stories of past events or talking about people I have known. Mild to really wild and freaky folks, you have been warned.
I usually record the vocals three plus times for each song and layer them together with modifications to get all the different vibes.
I switched to using ai for the final mastering of finished Seven Inch Sloth songs in March of 2025 because it’s quick, dirty, and easy. Also I really suck at the final polishing anyway.

A lot of Seven Inch sloth music is available on pretty much all the major music streaming services, just look it up and add it to your favorites on whatever service you use.
Besides that I recently made a sloppy YouTube Lyrics Page where I do some lyrics videos.
I have no control over This Other Seven Inch Sloth YouTube Channel.
It is something auto generated by YouTube. Just music, but it’s all the official releases so if you don’t have a music streaming service you use it is possible to listen to all the officially released stuff there.
Lastly, if you wish to contact me about any of this for some reason, please do it via FB. I just made a Seven Inch Sloth Facebook Page. Probably won’t be super active with it and won’t promote it because I don’t see a need, but you may see some odd things there and on my YouTube not available anyplace else.
