I have been on a crystals kick of late, and it kinda started last month with this painting that I named after the featured crystal. “Tangerine Quartz”<\/p>\n\n\n\n

The sketch was done, I’d started painting, and then I decided the chosen crystal, which I won’t name, didn’t have the correct meaning for what I was needing. I asked a friend who is into such things for advice, and she gave me a pretty good one, but it still wasn’t just right.
The result was I ended up going deep down the rabbit hole on the meanings, uses, and mythologies surrounding crystals.
I even read tons of scientific studies which were mostly inconclusive according to the scientist in regards to the healing powers of crystals. I always find such results funny because I imagine the “scientists” ending up with results that prove there is something to it so they can’t dismiss it, but then refusing to say so. It’s the power of the mind… lol
Maybe it is though, the mind is powerful. <\/p>\n\n\n\n
