\nThe art was done with my regular morning coffee and ink.
\nThe poem title is “Come Naked Before Me.”<\/p>\n

\n

She would dress up for me,
\nfresh makeup and hair so smooth…
\nFor so very long she’d play the game
\nof trying to be pleasant.<\/p>\n

Eventually I told her
\nthat she was prettiest in nothing at all.<\/p>\n

She stripped down before me,
\nand kicked off her heels.<\/p>\n

Her body naked before me was something I adored,
\nbut what I had meant was so much more.<\/p>\n

I wanted her naked before me in body and soul.
\nHer everything raw and real without any pretending
\nso I could absorb her truth and make it mine.<\/p>\n
