Another fun little design done in a traditional (old school) tattoo style.
\nThis one is a coy little mermaid. She seems a bit shy at first because of her body posture, but that little wink tells the tail.

\nI pasted the little iPhone picture onto the larger one because I liked it.
\nMy original intent however was for this to be a cool T-Shirt<\/a>. It is pretty cool, but after uploading the images I ended up liking it as a phone case more. <\/p>\n

I did the original drawing as a flash design in ink with colored pencil. I then put it through Photoshop to give it some extra texture because I thought the smooth look of the pencil wouldn’t be super groovy for a shirt. (opinions will differ I am sure)
\nIf you dig old school traditional tattoo art and also happen to be into mermaids then this is I am guessing a very fun design for you.
\nI personally am much more into angels (see yesterdays post<\/a>) when it comes to making fantasy\/mythology type pinup girls in this style, but I actually think it more likely for mermaids to exist than for a girl to really fall into the category of being an angel.
