Haven’t posted anything recently, and figured I should.
\nMy original intent was to post a a tattoo image of some sort, but when I looked in my pictures gallery on my phone I saw this and thought it looked rather nice in an accidental sort of way.

\nIt is the overall composition that I find so nice. I say accidental because when I am sketching a figure from life I do pay attention to the composition of the pose, but never of the overall on the paper. The sketches are meant as references and if kept and used for such I may even tear the ink portion out to not be distracted by the outer areas of the paper.
\nThis was done on a 9″ x 12″ sheet of sketch paper with a black calligraphy styled marking pen rather than my usual style of using a dip pen. I did five or six of these I think, but only kept two on my phone so can’t be sure.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"
