\"Hotel<\/a><\/p>\n

I haven’t posted anything from my panties coming down<\/a> series for a long time.
\nIt was looking at my originals catalog<\/a> that made me realize I needed to post one.
\nThe few I had on there sold.
\nTo my joy they all went to a single person so they are together.
\nThe idea of them together as a small collection is exciting to me and inspires me in the fact that my theme is appreciated to such an extent.<\/p>\n

So… when it comes to this painting, basically it is a situation of my needing to put one up on my catalog and therefore thinking I should post it here also.<\/p>\n

This one is called Hotel Rendezvous<\/em>.

\nWhen I originally started it my working title was Another Man’s Wife<\/em>.
\nShortly into the actual painting it became more of a generic clandestine rendezvous.
\nIn my brain I began thinking of the words “Hotel, motel, no-tell room.”
\nThe idea had shifted, but only slightly.
\nStill a secret meeting.
\nStill the forbidden act, but not necessarily a meeting with a cheating wife.
\nThis painting obviously has a bit of that feel in it and could be taken as such, but it can also be taken a million other ways.<\/p>\n

My original idea for Another Man’s Wife<\/em> had a bit more of the tell tale signs of that situation involved.
\nClothes scattered on the floor, obvious wedding ring, unopened champagne on a nightstand in melting ice, etc…
\nThings that say heated passions. Things long married couples don’t partake in usually.
\nAt least not in such a rushed manner.
\nI am still planning on doing that one.<\/p>\n

The style I painted this in is one of my favorite styles to work in.
\nIt is controlled chaos.
\nI keep full control of shapes, depth, perspective, and obviously do some compositional planning.
\nThen I let the paints fly free without regard to texture or realism.
\nThe results are extremely pleasing to me. <\/p>\n
